Homethrive AI Assistant

Homethrive AI Assistant is an AI-driven tool designed to provide caregivers with personalized, expert-informed guidance, available directly within the Homethrive app.

Challenge
Introducing AI-generated guidance into the Homethrive product required a visual and interaction system that felt trustworthy, clear, and aligned with the broader brand. The new feature needed to guide users through loading states, AI responses, and personalized content without adding cognitive load or disrupting existing UI patterns.

Solution
As Lead Brand & Creative Designer, shaped the assistant’s core interaction system by defining the loading experience, micro-interactions, and UI patterns that guide users through AI-generated responses. This established the functional foundation and ensured clarity during the AI workflow.

Expanded the assistant’s visual direction for personalized content, creating tailored home screens and suggested feeds. This included developing gradient treatments, color approaches, and iconography that extended the assistant’s identity within the broader Homethrive brand system.

Crossing Cultures

monks

Crossing Cultures is a short-form social media docuseries by WhatsApp that explores groups of people living in a country they’re not originally from. Each episode explores different locations, and the main goal was to show how WhatsApp allows foreigners to create a home away from home. The show is hosted by travel writer & entrepreneur, Jessica Nabongo, and was developed for WhatsApp by the team at monks (FKA Media.Monks).

Challenge
We needed a visual language that preserved WhatsApp’s recognizable brand while spotlighting individual identities and the different places each story was rooted in. The system also had to flex across diverse content formats without losing clarity or accessibility.

Solution
I developed the core visual system for the campaign by using WhatsApp’s brand colors and typography as a foundation while introducing elements that highlighted each participant’s cultural background and story. The work included concepting and designing logo explorations, motion-friendly graphic elements, social layouts, and scalable templates that supported a cohesive experience across all campaign touchpoints.

Homethrive Brand Refresh

Homethrive is a tech-driven healthcare service that supports family caregivers. As the company’s lead brand designer, I work all visual design across marketing, product, and internal needs - establishing a cohesive design system that works across every touchpoint.

Challenge
Homethrive needed a refreshed brand and clearer messaging that better reflected its mission and audience. The existing visuals were inconsistent across product, marketing, and internal communications, and the company lacked a unified identity system to guide future growth. The challenge was to define a new brand direction and build a complete, scalable visual identity from the ground up.

Solution
Led a 0-to-1 brand redesign, creating a cohesive visual identity system that spans color, typography, iconography, layout principles, and brand expression across digital and print. Authored the brand guidelines from scratch, defining visual principles, templates, and motion guidance to support consistent representation across every touchpoint. This system now anchors all marketing, product, and internal design work and serves as the foundation for Homethrive’s refreshed brand presence.

🧩 Premised Land is a virtual gallery which collects visual explorations of the boundaries between reality and hypothetical digital creation. These virtual reality works are based on irregularity: a new vision of the digital medium.

Using cutting-edge technologies, my collection showcases multiple digital creations in a range of various art forms. Together, they are displayed in a virtual gallery by New Art City.

The virtual exhibition allows accessing digital art together with other audience members and moving around a game-like space.
